My nana said, "It's like we are Vietnamese sweatshop workers." We weren't allowed to take bathroom breaks today or anything. My family may not be the most normal, but at least they are entertaining.
I want a life that sizzles and pops and makes me laugh out loud. And I don't want to get to the end, or to tomorrow, even, and realize that my life is a collection of meetings and pop cans and errands and receipts and dirty dishes. I want to eat cold tangerines and sing loud in the car with the windows open and stay up all night laughing and paint my walls the exact color of the sky right now. And I want my everyday to make God belly laugh, glad that he gave life to someone who loves the gift.

opinionated
We're making a quilt for my brother and so I spent the day with my mother and Nana. We always joke around in my family that we reproduce the exact same woman generation after generation. Strong-willed, opinionated, driven, honest, type A personality, did I say opinionated? I like to know that when I'm overreacting about something, that at least I come by it righteously.
